AgriTechTalk International CIC

What is a CIC?

AgriTechTalk International CIC is a registered Community Interest Company.

Community Interest Companies (CICs) are limited companies, with special additional features, created for the use of people who want to conduct a business or other activity for community benefit, and not for private advantage. This is achieved by a 'community interest test' and 'asset lock', which ensure that the CIC is established for community purposes and the assets and profits are dedicated to these purposes. In this case we are registered with the CIC Regulator to provide services to poor and marginalised communities worldwide through the provision of free (at the point of delivery), technical assistance and support services to agricultural and natural resources-orientated development programmes and projects implemented by non-governmental organisations (NGOs); community-based organisations (CBOs); international agencies (eg. UN bodies and IFRC); "Fairtrade" and similar cooperatives and relevant government institutions.
